We are happy to announce the release of Software Version 7.20A.202. This release is an update for our range of Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and Media Gateways. These SBCs and gateways deliver seamless connectivity, enhanced security and quality assurance for enterprise and service provider VoIP networks.
This update brings many exciting new features, as well as fixes for known issues. These features include a totally new Mediant Software SBC product, the Mediant Cloud Edition (CE). The cluster media-based Mediant CE is an elastic, scalable virtual SBC that takes the guesswork out of determining SBC capacity for new and expanding enterprises by ensuring that businesses have access to the necessary capacity at all times.
Other SBC updates include new Mediant 800 Gateway & E-SBC hardware revision, called the Mediant 800C. There is also a new SBC capacity floating license model, as well as enhancements to the Media Transcoding Cluster feature.
